It was the game that stopped talk about how the Miami Heat could look good even without Dwyane Wade.

On the Sunday game versus the Milwaukee Bucks, a team that apparently wanted every game to look like a street brawl, the Heat lacked in offense and artistry, losing 91-82 at American Airlines Arena, putting a stop to a winning streak of three games.

LeBron James continued to give much with Wade in the sidelines, reaching 28 points and 13 rebounds. However, 20 out of those points happened in the first half.

Meanwhile, Chris Bosh was all over the court following a breakout performance the night before in a blowout win hosting the Philadelphia 76ers.

Bosh ended with 23 points, also recording eight turnovers, a career-high, with six rebounds.

The line-up was permeated with that kind of slop, with Miami closing with 22 turnovers, with 6 of those made by point guard Mario Chalmers and only nine assists in total, only one better than the all-time low of the franchise.

With this season’s absence by Wade, the Heat went into the game 6-0, and came out of it showing just how much Wade could have helped. This was the fourth straight game he missed due to the sprain on his right ankle.

Neither of the two teams had a lead of more than five until Brandon Jennings, Bucks point guard, shot a 3-pointer to have the Bucks up by seven halfway through the fourth quarter.

It was from that point on that the Heat no longer had enough to make their way back.

Of course, Andrew Bogut, Bucks center, fouled out at 2:32 to the clock, giving the Heat a break with the score 83-78 in favor of Milwaukee. Bogut ended with 13 points and 8 rebounds.

From there, Bosh went to the line at 2:15 on the clock, making two free throws to close the gap to 83-80.

The Bucks then enjoyed a score by Ersan Ilyasova, bringing the score to 85-80. James later missed a transition layup at the same score, with 67 seconds left on the clock.

Stephen Jackson of Milwaukee then sent off a 3-pointer, with Jennings scoring off the rebound, pushing Milwaukee to 87-80 at 39.5 seconds on the clock. Jennings ended with 23 points.

Miami Heat came out of the game looking exactly like a team that had played the night before, while the Bucks appeared to be a team fully aware how a gritty approach could serve them well.

This was likely the reason for the sloppy first half, with technical fouls for several Heat players, Joel Anthony, Mike Miller, and Ron Rothstein. In the final seconds of the game, Chalmers also received a flagrant foul call.

From the outset, centers of the Heat stayed in foul trouble against Bogut. Anthony was forced to the benches early on with two quick fouls, and Eddy Curry entered but wound up receiving another pair of fouls; Dexter Pittman also followed them in the first half just prior to heading back to the locker room to have five stitches done on a bloodied upper lip.
